I heard about this story on the radio this morning and I'm not even going to link to it because I don't want to even give this dumbass more attention for being this stupid. We have an economy sucking like a vacuum, a war raging while Washington has no exit strategy or strategy for victory, and a complete decay of any accountability in government. What does the news media decide is one of the most important stories to break on the radio this morning? Out of control spending? Homophobic politicians getting busted for DUI's on the way back from a gay club? Congressional malfeasance?

To quote from the article this woman apparently "needs a mobility scooter to go shopping" and "eats huge amounts of junk food each week" while "trying to move as little as possible so she doesn't burn off calories."
She hopes to be 1000 lbs in two years.
Now look if it makes you happy I think you should go for it. I believe that people have the right to do whatever they want in their lives as long as it doesn't interfere with the right of others to do the same. I'm assuming that because of this woman's weight she's not working and I'm assuming that unless her partner is providing her with the income to live this lifestyle she's obviously collecting some kind of aid...maybe being provided from tax dollars?? Hmmmm?
Just think you could be paying for people like this to do this kind of stupid shit. On second thought if she's on a state insurance plan now...you already are. Think about that the next time you're paying for your scripts at your local pharmacy or wondering why it costs so much to get treatment at your local clinic or hospital.
